AADayNightMode

enum AADayNightMode : Enum<AADayNightMode>

The day/night mode the user chose for the Android Auto map.

Android Auto tells the app whether the car is in night mode (CarContext.isDarkMode, read by MSDKSession). By default the map follows it: AUTO. The user can instead keep the map in day or in night colours at all times: DAY, NIGHT. The Android Auto app quality guidelines require the default behaviour and allow this choice on top of it (guideline MR-1).

Where it lives

AAMapState.dayNightMode holds the choice the car map is drawn with; AAMapState.isMapDark applies it to the car's mode.
AASettingsState.mapDayNightMode and SettingsProvider.updateMapDayNightMode carry it to and from the Android Auto settings screen; the host app's SettingsProvider persists it and hands it to the map state.
