Welcome to the BeNomad API documentation 3.48.2.
This page will guide you through the use of our services to integrate mapping, route calculation, electric mobility features, search capabilities, and more.

## 🧭 Routing

The **Routing** service allows optimized route computation based on vehicle type, user preferences, and road constraints.

Key features:

- 📍 **Route Calculation**: Get optimal paths for vehicles (car, truck, pedestrian, taxi…) with options like avoiding tolls or highways.
- ⌛ **Isochrones**: Display areas reachable from a location based on time, distance, or energy.
- 🔄 **Origin-Destination Matrices**: Easily calculate travel times and distances between multiple origin/destination points.
- 🧩 **TraceRoute**: Reconstruct the most probable driving path from a GPS trace, with automatic GPS correction.

## 🔋 Electric Mobility

Enhance the EV driving experience with a full set of electric vehicle features.

Main capabilities:

- 🛣️ Plan optimized **EV trips** with charging stops automatically suggested along the route (**EV Trip Planner / EV Routing**)
- ⚡ Search for charging stations with real-time information (availability, pricing, operator…)
- 🔄 Estimate **charging duration** using advanced curve algorithms
- 🗺️ Display **reachable area** without charging from a given location
- 💰 Estimate **charging cost**
- 🚗 Access a comprehensive EV database with images, WLTP info, battery capacity, charging speed, etc.

## 📍 Search - Coming soon

Query the map to retrieve useful information such as addresses, POIs, map attributes, and geofences.

Core features:

- 🔁 **Forward Geocoding**: Convert address → coordinates
- 🔁 **Reverse Geocoding**: Convert coordinates → address
- 🗺️ Retrieve nearby map features like traffic signs or intersections
- 🛑 Set up geofences to detect asset presence inside or outside defined zones
- 🍴 Search for POIs around a location with filters by travel distance or mode
