# onGuidanceStopped

Notification (Navigation and application).

Notification when navigation is stopped by the user

Fires when the **driver** stops navigation from inside BeNav. It is the counterpart of
the client application calling [`stopGuidance`](https://docs.benomad.com/benav-rnc/commands/stop-guidance.md) itself: this one tells it about a decision it
did not make.

Without it a client application would keep believing a journey is under way after the driver
abandoned it: showing a stale ETA to a customer, or waiting for an arrival that is never coming.
