# hideMessage

Command (Messages and statuses).

Hide message

Takes down the message currently displayed. Required for a message that was sent with no expiry and
no dismiss button, and useful when what a message said has stopped being true.

The client application chooses whether to remove just the current message (letting the queue
continue) or to clear the queue as well.

Specific parameters

- `clearQueue`

  - `false` : only the currently displayed message will be removed. The next ones in the queue will then be displayed
  - `true` : removes the currently displayed message and the ones in the current queue.
